Yes, there are. Currently, the new cert exams are in beta. But as you can imagine, hands-on knowledge is the best way to learn, retain, and demonstrate that you have the skills for a job role. The AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate exam is the first of the AWS exams to incorporate a live component, but this is the way certs are trending.
