This learning path is designed to help you and your team prepare for the MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security exam. Even if you aren’t planning to take the exam, these courses will provide you with a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security. Candidates who pass the MS-101 exam will earn credit toward the Enterprise Administrator Expert certification.
The MS-101 exam tests your knowledge of three subject areas:
- Implement modern device services
- Implement Microsoft 365 security and threat management
- Manage Microsoft 365 governance and compliance
We’ll cover each section within this learning path. Early in the learning path, we’ll cover the Implement modern device services learning objective. You’ll learn how to plan device management, manage device compliance, and plan for apps. You'll also learn how to plan for Windows 10 deployment and how to enroll devices.
As you progress through the learning path, you’ll learn about implementing Microsoft 365 security and threat management. More specifically, you'll learn how to manage security reports and alerts, plan and implement threat protection with Microsoft 365 Defender, and how to plan Microsoft Cloud App Security.
To wrap up the learning path, you’ll learn how to manage Microsoft 365 governance and compliance. You'll learn how to plan for compliance requirements, manage information governance, and implement Information protection. You'll also learn how to plan and implement data loss prevention and how to manage search and investigations.

In addition to the Cloud Platform and Infrastructure MCSE certification, Tom also carries several other Microsoft certifications. His ability to see things from a strategic perspective allows Tom to architect solutions that closely align with business needs.
