Designed for people new to programming, this Course provides an ideal entry point for people wanting to learn how to program with the JavaScript scripting language. We begin with an introduction to an Interactive Development Environment and to the basic concepts of programming with the JavaScript language. We are then introduced to how data is stored and represented within a computer, and to the primitive data types used by JavaScript to represent data within programs. We then dive into data collections, functions, operators, and conditional statements. Finally, we will create a basic calculator app combining all the previous lessons into one challenge.
