The aim of the certification is to validate your knowledge across a number of different key areas, which have been defined by AWS as being able to:

As a means of demonstrating this knowledge, you will be tested across 4 different domains, with each domain contributing to a total percentage of your overall score. These domains are broken down as:
Domain 1: Cloud Concepts (24%)
Domain 2: Security and Compliance (30%)
Domain 3: Cloud Technology and Services (34%)
Domain 4: Billing, Pricing, and Support (12%)

Prerequisites
This course is designed for anyone who is new to cloud computing, so no prior experience with AWS is necessary. While it may be helpful to have a basic understanding of AWS and its services, as well as some exposure to AWS Cloud design, implementation, and operations, as well as the economics of the AWS Cloud, this is not required as all of the concepts we will introduce in this course will be explained and reinforced from the ground up.
